Objective of the Seminar: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Collaborating with others: <\/strong>Getting to know your fellow classmates is healthy when\ncoming to college, as you get get to know them and their people who you are\nable to share ideas with. When you\u2019re doing a group project everyone gets to\ninsert their knowledge into the group, giving the others something new to\nlearn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connected Learning: <\/strong>Not only do you show your work to just your teachers and\nclassmates but the outer world where you can receive feedback . Creating a blog\nor website that shares the information you know to others for them to comment\nback about what they also know on the subject and can critique you. Helpful for\na job someday because these classmates won\u2019t follow you to your future job to\ngive you the feedback you need but your new coworkers will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Learning to Engage: <\/strong>Talking to others and sharing what you know with other\npeople, is an awesome thing to do in a class. Your listening to what others\nhave to say about certain subjects and also putting your insight into it too.\nThis is useful when your in your other college classes especially when you need\nto share your own opinions but it\u2019s also teaching you how to hear the other\nside, as you can\u2019t always be correct!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Develop Academic\nSurvival:<\/strong> Learning how to get\nyour work in on time and passing a class is something you will need to get\nthrough college. You\u2019re finally understanding how to check your own grades,\nlearning how to write a paper,  and anything else that can help you survive\nacademically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Research Skills:\u00a0<\/strong>Almost every class in college is going to have to need some research whether it be for a paper, power point, or project. \u00a0In college you will need to understand how to find accurate research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
