Mr Sumith Srivastava, sir \u2013 Deputy Chief Manager \u2013 Karnataka &amp; Goa,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Event Organizer<\/strong>: Mr. Praveen N, SWC Officer, Mr. Changareddy, SWC coordinator<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participants<\/strong>: 260 students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Student Welfare Council of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, under the guidance of our respected Principal, Dr. Rekha Sethi, organised a Student Development Program titled \u201cCampus to Corporate\u201d on 11 August 2025. The program aimed at preparing students for the professional world by equipping them with essential corporate skills, industry insights, and career readiness techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Objective of the Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To bridge the gap between academic learning and corporate expectations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide exposure to industry trends and career opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To motivate students to adopt a professional approach in their career planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Session Highlights &amp; Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Industry Insights: Resource persons shared valuable knowledge about current industry demands, recruitment processes, and essential workplace skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Soft Skills Development: The importance of communication, teamwork, adaptability, and time management was emphasised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Corporate Readiness: Students were guided on resume preparation, interview techniques, and professional etiquette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Interactive Engagement: The session included Q\\&amp;A segments where students actively interacted with the speakers, clarifying doubts and seeking guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Motivation &amp; Career Planning: Students were encouraged to set clear career goals and continuously upgrade their skills to stay competitive in the job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cCampus to Corporate\u201d program was highly informative and impactful. Students gained practical knowledge about transitioning from academic life to a professional environment. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing appreciation for the engaging delivery and practical tips provided by the speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Student Welfare Council extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rekha Sethi, the resource persons, students and faculty members from other colleges, SBMJFGC-KGF faculty members, and all participants for making the program a success.
