The event aimed to instill a sense of national pride and pay tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective of the Event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary objectives of the Kargil Vijay Diwas observance were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the Kargil conflict.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To instill values of patriotism, duty, and courage among the cadets and students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To spread awareness about the historical significance of the Kargil War.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Programme Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event began with the <strong>hoisting of the national flag<\/strong>, followed by <strong>a moment of silence<\/strong> in remembrance of the fallen heroes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Patriotic Song and Poetry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NCC cadets presented <strong>patriotic songs and poems<\/strong> dedicated to the Indian Army, evoking a strong emotional response from the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Speech by CTO Mayur A Wadeyar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CTO <strong>Mayur A Wadeyar<\/strong> addressed the cadets and students, emphasizing the importance of <strong>national security, discipline, and youth participation<\/strong> in nation-building. He urged the cadets to carry forward the legacy of bravery and commitment exhibited during the Kargil War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Screening of Kargil War Documentary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short documentary on the <strong>Kargil War and Operation Vijay<\/strong> was screened to provide visual insight into the challenges faced by Indian soldiers and their heroic efforts in reclaiming the occupied peaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vote of Thanks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event concluded with a <strong>vote of thanks by Cadet Nandu Priya<\/strong>, who expressed gratitude to the principal, faculty members, NCC officers, cadets, and attendees for their participation and support in making the event a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kargil Vijay Diwas commemoration at <strong>SBMJC<\/strong> served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our armed forces. It reinforced a sense of pride, respect, and responsibility among the cadets and students.
