The programme aimed at selecting physically fit, enthusiastic, and disciplined students to be inducted as new cadets into the NCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Enrolment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives of the enrolment programme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To identify and recruit eligible first-year students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To assess students through physical and basic medical fitness tests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To instill awareness about the commitment and responsibilities of being an NCC cadet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Officials Present<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enrolment process was conducted under the supervision and guidance of officers from <strong>10 KAR BN NCC, Kolar<\/strong>, and college NCC staff. The following officials were present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From 10 KAR BN NCC:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SM Appal Swami<\/strong> \u2013 Senior representative supervising the overall process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Subedar Ravi<\/strong> \u2013 Conducted documentation checks and briefed the students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Havaldar Talwar<\/strong> \u2013 Carried out physical fitness assessments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Havaldar Arun Kumar<\/strong> \u2013 Assisted in medical checks and general discipline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From SBMJC:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CTO Mayur A. Wadeyar<\/strong> \u2013 Coordinated and supported the entire enrolment process, ensuring smooth operations and student management on campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enrolment Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enrolment process was carried out in the following systematic steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Document Verification:<\/strong><br>Candidates submitted required documents including photographs, identity proof, and academic records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Physical Fitness Test:<\/strong><br>Students were tested on endurance and basic physical standards, including running, push-ups, sit-ups, and flexibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medical Screening:<\/strong><br>A preliminary health check was done to ensure medical fitness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Observation &amp; Interaction:<\/strong><br>Officers evaluated candidates based on attitude, discipline, and interest in NCC activities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student Response<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A large number of students participated enthusiastically, showing keen interest in joining the NCC. The selection team appreciated the discipline, punctuality, and dedication shown by the students during the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contribution of CTO and Senior Cadets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CTO Mayur A. Wadeyar<\/strong>, with the help of senior cadets, ensured all logistical and administrative support was provided. The cadets assisted in registration, crowd management, and guided the new students throughout the enrolment process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>NCC Enrolment Programme at SBMJC<\/strong> on <strong>29th July 2025<\/strong> was a well-executed and successful event. With the support and guidance of officers from <strong>10 KAR BN NCC<\/strong> and active involvement from the college NCC Unit, the programme concluded smoothly with the selection of a promising new batch of cadets.
