Key highlights included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; History of GST: The evolution and implementation of GST in India<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; GST 2.0 Reforms: New changes and updates in the GST system, simplifying the tax structure into 5% and 18% slabs, with a special 40% slab for luxury and sin goods<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>New GST Rates: Updates on the latest GST rates and their implications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Daily Essentials:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8211; Hair oil, shampoo, toothpaste, and toilet soap: 5% (down from 12% or 18%)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8211; Butter, ghee, and cheese: 5% (down from 12%)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8211; UHT milk and pre-packaged paneer: 0% (down from 5%)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Electronics and Appliances:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211;
