Eco club organized field visit  at Bodenahalli from 10th November 2025 to  17th November 2025. 20 students and 2 faculty members actively participated to bring an awareness on chemical fertilizers, pollution , organic farming and drip irrigation for the farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impacts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Health Risks: Respiratory issues, cancers from pesticide residues in food\/water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Soil Degradation: Loss of nutrients, reduced fertility, harms earthworms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Biodiversity Loss: Pesticides kill pollinators, disrupt ecosystems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After harvest, farmers often burn leftover straw, releasing toxic smoke (particulate matter, CO\u2082, methane) that worsens air pollution, This practice harms health, reduces soil fertility, and kills beneficial insects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
