{"id":33557,"date":"2026-02-25T11:53:58","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T06:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sbmjckgf.in\/wordpress\/?p=33557"},"modified":"2026-03-25T13:21:22","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T07:51:22","slug":"faculty-development-program-on-smart-teaching-with-ai-a-hands-on-faculty-training-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sbmjckgf.in\/wordpress\/2026\/02\/25\/faculty-development-program-on-smart-teaching-with-ai-a-hands-on-faculty-training-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty Development Program on Smart Teaching with AI: A Hands-on Faculty Training Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>1st May 2025<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IQAC in association with Post Graduate Department of Commerce organized a <strong>Faculty Development Program (FDP) <\/strong>titled <strong>&#8220;Smart Teaching with AI: A Hands-On Faculty Training Program.&#8221; <\/strong>This insightful FDP was conducted in collaboration with <strong>BookBytes<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>International <\/strong>to empower Faculty Members with emerging AI tools for innovative teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was held on <strong>1st May 2025 <\/strong>from <strong>2:00 PM to 4:00 PM <\/strong>via an online platform. It was coordinated by <strong>Dr. J. Anthony Gruze Thangaraj<\/strong>, Professor and Head of the PG Department of Commerce. He was assisted by <strong>Ms. Shamala S<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, as the Organizing Secretary. The FDP was graciously supported by <strong>Dr. Rekha <\/strong><strong>Sethi<\/strong>, Principal of SBMJC KGF, as the Patron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key resource person for the session was <strong>Ms.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>Jabeen<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>Taj<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>Mk<\/strong>, MCA Department, Brindavan Group of Institutions. The session provided practical exposure to smart teaching techniques using AI-based applications. It focused on equipping faculty with hands-on experience in integrating AI into classroom settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants learned about AI tools for assessment, content creation, and personalized learning. The FDP emphasized the transformation of traditional teaching methods using technology. <strong>Vishalini V<\/strong>, representative of BookBytes, served as the organizer from their end. A registration link was provided for participants to join and receive e-certificates. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators across institutions.
