The Student Welfare Council (SWC) of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, in association with IQAC and Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Tamaka  Kolar, Rotary Kolar Collective Action, Kolar, organized a Free Medical Health Check-up Camp on 30th April 2026  at 11:00 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The primary objective of this health camp was to promote community health awareness and provide accessible healthcare services to students, faculty, and the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both the college community and the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

List of Specialist Doctors Available:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Gynecologist \u2013 Women’s health checkups and consultations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Orthopedic Specialist \u2013 Bone and joint assessments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Ophthalmologist (Eye Specialist) \u2013 Vision and eye health screening<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Otolaryngologist (ENT Specialist) \u2013 Ear, nose, and throat consultations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Dermatologist (Skin Specialist) \u2013 Skin care and related issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. General Physician \u2013 Primary care and general health checkups<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Surgeon \u2013 Consultation on surgical conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Diabetologist \u2013 Diabetes screening and management advice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free Services Provided:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. General Health Check-up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. ECG (Electrocardiogram)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Blood Pressure, GRBS (Glucose Random Blood Sugar), and Blood Tests<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Distribution of Selected Free Medicines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outcome of the Camp:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large number of beneficiaries availed themselves of the free services. Many individuals received early diagnosis and medical guidance.  The collaborative efforts of the medical teams and student volunteers ensured smooth coordination and effective service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Free Medical Health Check-up Camp proved to be a significant success in addressing basic healthcare needs and raising health awareness among the community. The Student Welfare Council of SBMJFGC extends heartfelt gratitude to all participating institutions, medical professionals, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
