The Department of Life Science organized a field visit from 5 June 2026 to 10 June 2026<\/strong> at A. Mothakapalli. The visit focused on the topics of Soil Biology<\/strong> and Soil Health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, students gained practical knowledge about the importance of soil pH<\/strong>, nutrient availability<\/strong>, and organic pest control<\/strong> in sustainable agriculture. The program provided insights into the relationship between soil health and crop productivity, helping students understand the biological processes that support healthy soil ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 280 students<\/strong> participated in the field visit. They learned about the applications of organic farming practices<\/strong> and biopest control systems<\/strong>, observing how environmentally friendly methods can be used to improve agricultural productivity while reducing dependence on chemical inputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The field visit offered valuable hands-on experience and enhanced students’ understanding of sustainable soil management and organic agricultural practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
