\u00a0The Student Welfare Council (SWC) of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, successfully organized an Orientation Program on 03 August 2026 (Monday) at 11:00 AM onwards in the College Auditorium. The programme was conducted to familiarize newly admitted students with the objectives, functions, and activities of the Student Welfare Council and to encourage active student participation in campus life.
<\/strong>

The orientation was coordinated by Mr. N. Praveen, Assistant Professor and Student Welfare Officer (SWC). He provided a detailed overview of the Student Welfare Council, its vision, mission, objectives, and various welfare initiatives undertaken by the college. He explained the structure of the council, the roles and responsibilities of student representatives, and highlighted the importance of teamwork, leadership, discipline, and community service.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Mohamed Younus, CMA (US) Qualified and \u00a0Ex-President \u00a0of SWC (2023), and\u00a0 Mr. Kethan\u00a0 Ex-President\u00a0 of SWC (2024), delivered an inspiring address. They shared the experiences as the former SWC President and motivated students to actively participate in college activities. They emphasized leadership, communication skills, professional ethics, and continuous self-improvement.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, Chief Guest, faculty members, SWC members, and students for their support and participation. The orientation was highly informative and successful in creating awareness about the Student Welfare Council among first-year students.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
