Each year on August 1<\/strong>, scouts across the world celebrate World Scout Scarf Day<\/strong>. This day is for all active and former scout members to showcase their scout pride by wearing their scarf\u2019s in public. Hence, over time, the scouts\u2019 scarf has become a symbol of strength and courage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       The Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF celebrated world Scarf Day and shared the importance of Scarf Day with the students. Students learnt the law and Prayer of scouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       The Chief Guest Dr.Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC, KGF<\/strong> emphasized the significance of Scarf day, Guest of honor Dr L. Jayapandian IQAC Co-ordinator<\/strong>, Ms. Kalpana and Ms. Chithra (BCA DEPT)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. L. Jayapandian, IQAC Coordinator,<\/strong> spoke to the students about the importance of the Rovers and Rangers movement. He highlighted the values of discipline, service, helping others, and the significant role that Rovers and Rangers play in developing responsible, dedicated, and socially committed citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Nagesha P, Rover Scout Leader, Ms. Shylu S, Ranger Leader <\/strong>were present.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

OUTCOME:<\/strong> Students developed a better understanding of the values of discipline, leadership, teamwork, and community service. The programme inspired them to become responsible citizens and actively participate in service-oriented activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
