Event Description:
As a part of Academic Activity of the Department, Orientation Programme was organized for the first semester PG (M.Com/M.Sc) students at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College K.G.F The major objective of the Orientation Programme was to make the students understand the Academic aspects of the Library.
In this Orientation Programme the Librarian deliberated words of advice & suggestions to the 1st year PG students on the following points:
- A Small introduction about the Library & good briefing by the Librarian & Library Admin about the Services provided by the Library.
- The Resources available in our library and how the students can utilize it.
- Rules & Regulations of the department of Library.
- The Importance of the Library hour in the regular class time table.
- Providing extra Library hour for the students every day and during the Examination time.
- Importance of utilizing the books for reading & studying purposes.
- An introduction about the Reprographic Centre.
- The facilities available in the library for the students and staffs.
- The strategic plans of library for the upcoming days.
