The Department of Physical Science organised a Career Guidance Programme for B.Sc students on 2nd August 2025 to provide students with insights into career opportunities and professional growth.
The session was led by Ms. Gowthami Raja, M.Tech, from TransUnion, who shared her academic journey and professional experiences, offering practical advice on skill development, interview preparation, and current market trends and adapting to industry demands.
She highlighted the importance of technical expertise, communication skills, and continuous learning, while also outlining diverse career paths, such as research, software development, data analytics, full stack developer, cyber security and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud computing.
The interactive session allowed students to seek personalised guidance, making the programme both informative and motivating.
Around 60 students and 5 faculty attended the programme.
