The Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF had a plantation programmeon 19th September 2024 at Scouts bhavan, KGF On behalf of the 76^th Birthday of Shri.PGR Sindhiya, Sate Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka.

Mr.Suresh K R, District Commissoner, Mr.Babu V, District Organiser, Ms.Hemavathi, Guide Captain, Mr.Tejonanda, District Youth Community Director, Mr.Gowri Shankar, Head Quarter Commissioner, Ms. Sangeetha D S Ranger Leader, Mr. Nagesha P, Rovers Scout Leader were present.

No. of students participated: 12

The Rover’s unit of SBMJFGC,  KGF in coordination with the District Bharat Scouts and Guides Organiser Mr.Babu V conducted a Shramadhan programme by painting the compound wall of Govt.Higher Primary,School,Champion Reefs,KGF.

Ms.Banu,Headmistress of Govt.Higher primary school,Champion Reefs,KGF,along with School Teachers Ms.Mary and Mr.Srinivas Reddy and  other staff  joined us for the Event.

Mr. Nagesha P,Rovers scout leader along with 15 Rovers from the college actively involved  in the painting work.

A Service camp was arranged from 17/07/2024 to 19/07/2024 to all the pre-university college students in Scout’s Bhavan, Kolar. Mr.Nagesha P, Rover scout leader of SBMJC, KGF, actively participated and rendered service in the camp.

Shaheed Diwas is commemorated on March 23^rd every year to remember the sacrifice of three extraordinary revolutionaries of India-Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar.

This day is observed to pay homage to the unsung heroes of our nation.

The Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF commemorated Shaheed Diwas and created awareness about their thoughts, philosophies and revolutionary nature to the students.

The Chief Guest was Dr.Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC, KGF and the Guest of Honour Dr. L. Jayapandian, IQAC Coordinator, SBMJC, KGF.

Ms. Elizabeth Rani, Ranger Leader, Ms. Sangeetha D S, Ranger Leader and Mr. Nagesha P, Coordinator of Rovers crew were present.

Government of Karnataka, Hindu Religious Institutions And Charitable Endowments Department of Hassan District celebrated Sri Hassanamba Devi and Sri Siddeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsav 2023 at Hassan district, from 02 November 2023 to 15 November 2023, For this event the State and District association of The Bharat Scout and Guide gave a call to all the Rovers and Rangers to render Service.

The Rovers and Rangers Unit of SBMJFGC – K G F, took an initiative to render the Service at Sri Hassanamba Devi and Sri Siddeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsav 2023 at Hassan district. And deployed Volunteer Rovers and Rangers for the same from 06^th November 2023 to 11^th November 2023. 

The Volunteers were honored by the Hindu Religious Institutions And Charitable Endowments Department of Hassan District, and by the Camp Leader.
