Commemoration of Shaheed Diwas

Shaheed Diwas is commemorated on March 23rd every year to remember the sacrifice of three extraordinary revolutionaries of India-Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar.

This day is observed to pay homage to the unsung heroes of our nation.

The Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC, KGF commemorated Shaheed Diwas and created awareness about their thoughts, philosophies and revolutionary nature to the students.

The Chief Guest was Dr.Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC, KGF and the Guest of Honour Dr. L. Jayapandian, IQAC Coordinator, SBMJC, KGF.

Ms. Elizabeth Rani, Ranger Leader, Ms. Sangeetha D S, Ranger Leader and Mr. Nagesha P, Coordinator of Rovers crew were present.

Service Camp at Sri Hassanamba Devi and Sri Siddeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsav 2023

Government of Karnataka, Hindu Religious Institutions And Charitable Endowments Department of Hassan District celebrated Sri Hassanamba Devi and Sri Siddeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsav 2023 at Hassan district, from 02 November 2023 to 15 November 2023, For this event the State and District association of The Bharat Scout and Guide gave a call to all the Rovers and Rangers to render Service.

The Rovers and Rangers Unit of SBMJFGC – K G F, took an initiative to render the Service at Sri Hassanamba Devi and Sri Siddeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsav 2023 at Hassan district. And deployed Volunteer Rovers and Rangers for the same from 06th November 2023 to 11th November 2023. 

The Volunteers were honored by the Hindu Religious Institutions And Charitable Endowments Department of Hassan District, and by the Camp Leader.

FREE EYE CAMP

On 11th Jan 2023 Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJFGC – KGF Coordinated with Sri Sathyasai Adhyathmika Seva Samithi (Reg) and Dr. M.C. Modi Charitable Eye Hospital, Mahalakshmipuram, Bangalore – 560086 Organized One Day Free Eye CAMP at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College – K G F

Objective:

  • To create awareness among the student community which leads an intervention to clear the backlog of avoidable blindness.
  • To provide high volume, high quality and free cost eye care service

CHIEF GUEST: Mr. MANJUNATH, PHILANTHROPIST. Ms. SUMATHI, Chief Nurse. Dr. REKHA SETHI, Principal SBMJFGC – KGF.

OUTCOME: 175 Students and 35 People from K G F Taluk were benefitted out of it.
