MEGA JOB FAIR 2026

Organized by: Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF (IQAC, Placement Cell & Student Welfare Council)  In Collaboration With: Dr. Ambedkar Academy, KGF, In Association With  Reliance Foundation and Magic Bus India Foundation

Introduction

The Mega Job Fair 2026 was successfully organized by the Placement Cell, and Student Welfare Council of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College on 29 May 2026. The event was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Ambedkar Academy and in association with Reliance Foundation and Magic Bus India Foundation. The primary objective of the job fair was to provide employment opportunities to students and job seekers by connecting them with leading companies from various sectors.

Objectives of the Job Fair

– To provide employment opportunities to students and fresh graduates.
– To bridge the gap between academia and industry.
– To facilitate direct interaction between recruiters and job seekers.
– To enhance the employability skills of students.
– To support local youth in securing suitable career opportunities.

Participation and Outcome

Students from SBMJFGC and various neighbouring colleges actively participated in the event. More than 14 companies participated in the recruitment drive. A total of 56 candidates were successfully selected and offered employment opportunities across different sectors.

The organizing committee expresses sincere gratitude to the Management, Principal, faculty members, collaborating organizations, company representatives, student volunteers, and all participants for their valuable support and cooperation in making the Mega Job Fair 2026 a grand success.

Conclusion

The Mega Job Fair 2026 proved to be a highly successful initiative that created valuable employment opportunities for students and job seekers. The successful placement of 56 candidates reflects the effectiveness of the program and motivates the institution to organize similar initiatives in the future.

Virtual Placement Drive by North Star Academy

A Virtual Placement Drive was organized by North Star Academy in association with Wadhwani Foundation for the benefit of final-year students. The objective of the drive was to provide students with employment opportunities and exposure to the recruitment process.

The placement drive was conducted through an online platform, enabling students to participate conveniently and interact with recruiters. A total of 25 students attended the virtual placement drive and actively participated in the selection process.

The event provided valuable experience to the students by helping them understand industry expectations, improve their interview skills, and explore career opportunities. The students showed great enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the drive.

The institution expresses its gratitude to North Star Academy and Wadhwani Foundation for organizing the placement drive and creating employment opportunities for students.


CAMPUS DRIVE–2026

Participants: All the final year Degree students

The Placement Cell and Student Welfare Council  of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, organized a Campus Drive in association with Wadhwani Foundation for the final year students of all streams. The drive aimed to provide students with career opportunities and industry exposure by connecting them with reputed organizations.

The program commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by Ms. Havilah Antony of 2nd B.com. Dr. L. Jaya Pandian addressed the gathering and motivated the students to make the best use of the placement opportunities provided. As part of the inauguration ceremony, Dr. L. Jaya Pandian and dignitaries also inaugurated the event by watering a plant, symbolizing growth, learning, and success. Students from all final year streams enthusiastically participated in the recruitment drive.

The campus drive was conducted successfully with active participation from students and support from the recruiting companies and the Wadhwani Foundation team. The event provided students with valuable opportunities to interact with recruiters and explore career prospects in the corporate and banking sectors.

Campus Drive – Company ProSpider (Online Mode)

27th November 2024

The Placement Cell in association with IQAC, successfully organized a virtual campus recruitment drive on 27th November 2024. The reputed company ProSpider conducted the drive in online mode, providing final-year UG and PG students with a valuable opportunity to step into the professional world.

A total of 137 students participated in the recruitment process, which consisted of:

  • Online Aptitude Test
  • Virtual Technical Interview
  • Online HR Interview

Following the evaluation process, 22 students were successfully selected for various roles at ProSpider. The drive was conducted smoothly, and students showcased their skills and potential with great enthusiasm.

The event was coordinated efficiently by the Placement Cell Officer Dr. L Jayapandian with the support of the principal Dr. Rekha Sethi, The College extends its sincere gratitude to ProSpider for their collaboration and for offering career opportunities to our students.

The Placement Cell in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized Job Fair in the Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, Campus.

Introduction:

The Placement Cell of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF has organized Job Drive on 26th April 2025. The primary objective is to provide a good platform in the reputed companies for the final-year degree students. more than 27 companies has visited the campus and conducted the interview more than 375 students participated in the mega event the drive was inaugurated  by Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi, Placement Officer Dr L Jayapandian, and senior H R Mr. Shiva Kumar and all other H.R were present.
