Introduction:

The Placement Cell of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF has organized Job Drive on 26th April 2025. The primary objective is to provide a good platform in the reputed companies for the final-year degree students. more than 27 companies has visited the campus and conducted the interview more than 375 students participated in the mega event the drive was inaugurated  by Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi, Placement Officer Dr L Jayapandian, and senior H R Mr. Shiva Kumar and all other H.R were present.

Registration process for the Job Drive

Campus Drive – Company Visited Alldigi Technologies

23rd November 2024

The Placement Cell in association with IQAC, organized a campus recruitment drive on 23rd November 2024 in offline mode. The reputed company Alldigi Technologies visited the campus to recruit eligible final-year UG and PG students.

A total of 92 students participated in the recruitment process. The selection procedure included:

  • Aptitude Test
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview

The drive was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation from the students. It provided a valuable platform for them to engage with industry professionals and demonstrate their potential.

The event was coordinated efficiently by the Placement Cell Officer Dr. L Jayapandian with the support of the principal Dr. Rekha Sethi, The College extends its sincere gratitude to ProSpider for their collaboration and for offering career opportunities to our students.

Campus Drive – Company QSpider (Online Mode)

12th November 2024

The Placement Cell successfully organized a campus recruitment drive in collaboration with QSpiders on 12th November 2024 through online mode. A total of 125 students from Commerce & Business Administration departments enthusiastically participated in the drive.

After a series of selection rounds, including online assessments and virtual interviews conducted by the company’s HR team, 22 students were successfully selected for recruitment.

The placement drive provided a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their skills and secure job offers before graduation.

Participants: All the Degree Students The Orientation on Community Skill Development Program was organized by Learning Leaders for all degree classes – B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc (PMCS), and BGBT – at our institution. The session aimed to create awareness among students about various certificate programs and skill development courses that enhance employability and professional growth.

They provided valuable insights into the importance of skill-based learning alongside academic studies, highlighting how these programs can prepare students for industry demands. They explained the structure, benefits, and career opportunities associated with the offered certificate and skill development courses.

The orientation was interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their queries. The session helped broaden the students’ perspective on continuous learning and professional readiness.

As a gesture of gratitude, Dr. L. Jayapandian presented a token of love to the esteemed resource persons, acknowledging their contribution to enriching the knowledge base of the students.

The program concluded on a positive note, leaving students motivated to explore skill enhancement opportunities.

Vision:

Placement Committee envisages and idea of inter face between industry requirement, vis a vis student aspiration in that the right person for the right job is ensured, making sure the industry benefits from the students in terms of taking up roles and responsibilities and contributing the growth of the organisation.

  • To groom the students and make them aware of current scenario of various industries
  • To Maintain good liaison with the recruiters
  • To develop strong analytical and competitive skills

Objective of the Placement

  • To Provide career Guidance about avenues open after graduation.
  • To provide recruitment to students.
  • To Organize Pre -Placement Training providing Training & Placement process awareness to First year students.
  • Planning and Organizing  various placement drive in the campus
  • To build the bridge between industry and academic.

Policies

  • Students of the final year are eligible and entitled to get placement via campus drive.
  • The college gives at least three opportunities to every student offer to every students in general. Once the student is placed with any company the students is not allowed to take up any other campus drive.
  • Students should undergo pre-placement Training before campus Recruitment.
  • The students should a bide by rules and regulation during the placement process (or) else disciplinary action/penalty charges will be taken.

A senior faculty member will be nominated as the placement officer and a committee is been formed this will be forwarded to Governing Council for Approval. Companies will be invited by the Institution and campus drive will be conducted, every year more than 50 percent students will be placed in various companies according to the stream.
