“Happiness Program (Sudarshan Kriya)” 

Counselling Centre in Association with IQAC organized workshop on the theme of “Happiness Program (Sudarshan Kriya)”, for all the First Year Degree Students on 16th March 2026 in the Auditorium.

Resource Person: Mrs. Suma Mrs. Sowmya Venkatesh and Mrs  Usha Nandini delivered a wonderful message on “Happiness Program (Sudarshan Kriya)” , Dr. Rekha Sethi Principal, SBMJC, KGF, Dr. L. Jayapandian IQAC Co-Ordinator  SBMJC, KGF, and Faculty Members were present.

Sudarshan Kriya:-Sudarshan Kriya is a powerful breathing technique (pranayama) used for improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

🌿 Meaning of Sudarshan Kriya

  • “Su” = proper or right
  • “Darshan” = vision or seeing clearly
  • “Kriya” = action or technique

👉 So, Sudarshan Kriya means “a technique that gives you a clear and proper vision of life.”

🌬 Objectives

  1. Reduce Stress and Anxiety
    Helps calm the mind and release tension from daily life.
  2. Improve Mental Clarity
    Enhances focus, concentration, and clear thinking.
  3. Achieve Emotional Balance
    Helps control negative emotions like anger, fear, and depression.
  4. Increase Energy Levels
    Boosts vitality and reduces fatigue through proper breathing.
  5. Promote Inner Peace
    Creates a sense of calmness and relaxation.
