Objective of the Outreach Program:
- To create awareness of computer knowledge.
- To teach basics of computer Software and Hardware.
- To inform importance of computer in present day.
- To motivate the students become a software engineer
- To develop how to become self employed.
The purpose of outreach is to strengthen a bond between the science community and the local community. Here, experts from various fields have a chance to interact with the representatives of the local community and explain how the work they do impacts their everyday life using technology.
The Department of Computer Science Outreach Program focuses on teaching High School Students Computational Thinking. Computational Thinking is a critical thinking skill that, according to some, is a required skill for success in the 21st century. For most students, exposure to computational thinking as a problem-solving tool.
