The 59th A.D. Shroff Memorial Elocution Competition was successfully organized for the students of BCA, B.Com, BBA, and B.Sc. at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF on 17th September 2025 at 11:00 AM. The event aimed to encourage public speaking skills, enhance students’ confidence, and promote awareness on socio-economic topics through competitive oratory.
Objective of the Event
- To provide a platform for students to express their ideas confidently.
- To develop communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- To encourage healthy competition among students across various streams.
- To honor the legacy of A.D. Shroff, a great economist and visionary.
Participation
A total of 11 students from various departments enthusiastically participated in the competition. Each participant delivered an elocution speech on topics related to economics, social issues, and national development.

The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi, who encouraged the students with her motivating words and later distributed prizes to the winners.
