The IQAC of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Placement Cell of SBMJFGC, KGF organised Career Guidance Program for Final year degree students on 24th January 2023 in the auditorium from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
Dr Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF, Dr L Jayapandian Placement officer of SBMJFGC, KGF and all the staff members were present for the program.
Total – 250 students
Orientation Program on Library Facilities was conducted on 21st January 2023 for 1st year M.Com students by Dr. Anthony Gruze Thangaraj Professor, Department of PG Commerce, SBMJFGC, KGF and Ms. Savitha M, Librarian, SBMJFGC, KGF
The NSS Unit of SBMJC, KGF organized Eye Camp in association with Vasan Eye Care, Bangalore on Tuesday 15th February 2022. Dr. Lalitha, Vasan Eye Care Bangalore, Dr. Rekha Sethi Principal and Dr. L. Jayapandian NSS Officer, Staff Members and 87 Volunteers participated.
A National level webinar on Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was conducted on 13th of April 2022, the main objectives of the programme is to provide plethoric view of the IPR and its related issues. Pro Ganesan Associate Professor and Head Post Graduate Department of Economics and Centre for Research, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College Sivakasai- was called as a resource person. Participant’s form the different states of India have participated in the webinar.

Objective
1. To give awareness about Intellectual property Rights among students
2. To give insights about inclusions under IPR like copy rights, patents, trade mark and other creation of human intellect

Outcome:
The workshop was full of knowledge as students were unaware of IPR, and procedure of filing the patents.
The lecture concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
