Guest lecture – Goods and Services Tax

The department of commerce organized a guest lecture on GST- Procedure and levy on 17th December 2022.

An initiative taken to roll out the registration process for the beginners interested to start their career as an entrepreneur.

Programme outcome; 250 B.Com students participated and gained the knowledge on the entire procedure of registering for GST and Filing effortlessly in online.

Awareness programme

On 12th December 2022, The anti sexual harassment cell organized an Awareness programme for the UG students. It focused on creating awareness to the students about do’s and don’ts of sexual Harassment under the theme — which ‘No’ you did  not understand.

Program outcome: 200  Students from various departments attended the event and gained the exposure on silence hides the violence and the theme motivated to voice out and stand for self dignity.

Kannada Andavaada Baravanige Spardhe

The Department of Kannada, organized Kannada Andavaada Baravanige Spardhe on 19th December, 2022. 50 students actively participated in the competition to understand the writing skills of the language in this modern era.

Maatad Maatad Kannada Spardhe

The Department of Kannada, organized Maatad Maatad Kannada Spardhe on 16th December, 2022. 16 students actively participated in the competition and gained knowledge on the speaking skills.

INAUGURATION OF INCUBATION AND STARTUP

As a part of entrepreneurship development in tact with startup, we started the inauguration as a step of initiative towards growth and enhancement of student career.

Dr. Sridhar, founder of ELDF (entrepreneurship and Leadership Development Foundation) an expertise and an excellent trainer on marketing and creative selling accredited under UNDP/UNIDO and civil servant, Government of India.

He inaugurated the session and had interaction with students, came to know their interest and enthusiasm in entrepreneurship. He generated ideas in their minds and tried to tap the creativity levels among them.

Motivations through various concepts were given to students to make them know the importance of their career through entrepreneur skills.

Small ideas with big innovation were discussed among them; students participated enthusiastically in this knowledge sharing session.

Career Guidance through competitive exams :

Dr. Sridhar, founder of ELDF (entrepreneurship and Leadership Development Foundation) civil servant, Government of India shared the knowledge on how to take up competitive exams, who is eligible and what are the various posts that are available under civil services.

Students were enlightened with ideas through various motivational videos and real factual incidents.

Their growth and career enhancement topics were covered.
