The Department of Life Science conducted Guest lecture on career guidance on 9th August 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am through online mode.
Resourse Person: Mr. Varshith M. R., Research Scholar, Manipal University, Mangalore
Total : 45 students and 5 faculty members participated .
Indian Red Cross Society observed ” GENEVA CONVENTION DAY” on 12th August 2022. The chief guest of the event was Dr Gopithirumaran MBBS MS-ORTHO, Sambhram Institute of Medical Science, KGF addressed the gathering on Geneva Convention, role of youth towards humanitarian services and motivated the young minds.
Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal SBMJFGC, KGF motivated the students to understand the various policies of Geneva Convention and to follow the same in day to day life. 70 students and 7 Faculty members actively participated in the event.
The Campaign initiated as a part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘ to commemorate India’s 75th Anniversary of Independence.
The NSS Unit in Association with all the Cells and Forum of Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF celebrated 75th Amara Desh Ka Tarang rally on 12th August 2022.
The rally started with each one holding the national flag from SBMJFGC headed by Dr. Rekha Sethi, principal SBMJFGC along with Mr. Babu S., Office Superintendent, Mr. L. Jayapandian, NSS officer Mr. Navendran D., PRO, Ranger leader Ms. Elizabeth Rani followed by 40 faculty members, 800 students and Non teaching staff as well.
The rally started from SBMJFGC, towards Suraj circle, Gandi circle, Pritchard Road, Swarna Nagar, Geetha Road back to SBMJFGC, KGF.
The NSS Unit organised online voter enrollment for the students who attained 18 years of age at SBMJFGC KGF on 10th August 2022.
Total 150 students enrolled through online
The NSS Officer Mr. Jayapandian L and Dr. Rekha Sethi Principal SBMJFGC KGF distributed National Flag for students at open auditorium of SBMJFGC KGF on 11th August 2022.
Total 650 students collected the National Flag and participated.
