The Department of Management Studies, SBMJFGC KGF organized National Webinar on Intellectual Property Rights an Overview “ to enrich the knowledge on the intellectual property rights on Thursday 26th May 2022.

In the event about 156 participants from different streams of neighboring states actively participated. the session focused on the Various aspects of intellectual property rights like Patents, Copyright and Trademarks.
On the occasion of World Environmental Day on 5th June 2022 .SBMJFGC . KGF has picked up 5 activities to implement in our college as well community engagement as per the instruction of MGNCRE – Ministry of Higher Education, Govt of India. Theme of the year 2022“Only one Earth”. Awareness about environment and popularize the concept of sustainability and living in tune with the nature.” Green campus including water conservation, Tree plantation, waste management, Paperless work, Paper bag making ,Distribution of plants, Energy conservation and mapping of Bio-diversity. All these above activities was conducted at Government High School, Andersonpet.KGF for high school students of approximately 100 students participated along with 24 members of Student welfare association and faculty coordinator Ms.Nazneen Ahamed and Mr.Praveen .The School head mistress Ms. Sayeeda Bee who was very supportive with their staff members in completing the awareness programme successfully on 6th June 2022 .
The Rotaract club of sbmjc kgf associated with kgf city municipality Organised World Environment Day on 5th JUNE 2022 and made a service through saplings of plants.

The Post Graduate Department of Commerce organized a two days National workshop on “Statistical Analysis and Interpretation using SPSS for Business research Analysis” on 2nd and 3rd of June 2022,Faculties, students and Research scholars form the different parts of the state participated. The Workshop started with Inaugural session at 9:30 Am On 2nd June 2022, the session was presided over by Dr.Rekhasethi, Principal SBMJC, KGF, Dr.T.Tirupathi Assistant professor Govt Arts College Salem, and Dr.J.AnthonyGruzeThangarja Coordinator PG Department SBMJC KGF, and delivered inaugural address.
The workshop session one started at 10:00Am, on the 2nd of June 2022. Where the basic theoretical components required for the social Science Research were discussed, the technical session tow started at 2:00Am where, statistical toll like, Independent t-Test was discussed with technical and scientific interpretation.
The next day (3rd June 2022), the third technical workshop started at 10:00Am, where Statistical tools like one sample t-Test, ANOVA, and Paired t-Test used for analysis were discussed with technical and scientific interpretation.
The fourth workshop session started at 2:00Pm, where factor analysis with multiple regression and correlation was discussed with technical and scientific interpretation. The workshop was concluded at 3:30 Pm, with valedictory and certificated distribution, the various participants have registered their experience and benefits of the workshop.
The Department of Life Science organized outdoor activity on Environmental consciousness at Karnataka Forest Department (Nursery), Benganur, Bangarpet on 31st May 2022. The students were taught about Agro forestry and its impact on Environment issues. 30 students and 04 faculty members actively participated in the activity.
