INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

The Women Empowerment Cell celebrated International Women’s day on 8th March 2022 and 9th March 2022 on the theme “Gender Equality Today For a Sustainable Tomorrow”. 

March 8, 2022 day 01, the chief guest Dr. Suresh Kumar H.M, District Surgeon, KGF General Hospital, KGF addressed the gathering and highlighted the true meaning of women empowerment and women getting a quality education further, he also assured that gender inequality can be eliminated by the young minds.

The chief guest Mrs. Indira Joseph, Principal, Sambram Institute Of Nursing KGF graced the occasion and shared her views on the critical aspect to achieving gender equality

Rovers and Rangers Camp

Rovers and Rangers had a nature camp from 24th February 2022 to 27th February 2022 at Anekal Bangalore and received state level participation certificate

National Science Day-2022

The Science Club organized the National Science Day on 28th February 2022 for B.Sc students on the theme “Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for sustainable future” .The chief guest Dr Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF addressed the gathering on the role of science in day to day life and integrated approach for the sustainable future. Competitions were conducted and students actively participated and won the prizes in Pick and Speak, Memory Game, Paint without Brush, What’s N arm and Dumb Charades.  120 students and 10 faculty members were present.

Entrepreneur Skill Development Program

 Sangene Biotech, Bengaluru in association with Department of Life Science, organized Entrepreneur Skill Development Program on Mushroom cultivation from 21st February to 11th of March 2022. The resource person Dr Prasad, Director, Sangene Biotech, trained the students to prepare the substrate and packing the spawn for mushroom cultivation. The students actively participated in the Skill Development Program to cultivate different types of mushroom. Oyster spawn were used to pack and grow the mushroom in our laboratory with suitable conditions.

Webinar on Leading Self on a chosen career path

This webinar was based on Self awareness for the career journey, which highlighted on assess the people, opportunities and the environment around us and embark on a successfully career path. Students from all stream of SBMJC  participated and receive E-Certificate at the end of the session using Feedback link.
