One Day National Level Seminar – 2024

The Department of Hindi, SBMJFGC, KGF combined with Kendriya Hindi Sansthan Agra and Karnataka State University College Hindi Professor Sanga Organised One Day National Level Seminar on 28th August 2024 in the auditorium from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Topic : “Importance of Indian education system in the context of national education policy”

Objectives:
Under the National Education Policy, special emphasis has been given to the study and teaching of Indian knowledge tradition. The National Education Policy has been formulated in the rich light of the eternal knowledge and thoughts of the India. In this direction, the University Grants Commission has taken an innovative initiative to connect the new generation with the Indian knowledge tradition. Under this, such concepts related to Indian knowledge tradition are being added in the curriculum of each discipline subject, through the study of which the pride of being Indian will definitely awaken in the new generation of students.

The Program was inaugurated by Professor Sunil Babu Rao Kulkarani, Director, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan Agra.

Dr. Narayana Sameer Speaker Retired Director, Central Translate Bureau Home Ministry Govt. of Hindi.

Orientation and Awareness on Anti sexual harassment

The cell organised an orientation and awareness on Anti sexual harassment at work place for the 1st year B.Com and BBA students on 23rd August 2024 in the auditorium from 2:10 pm to 3:00 pm.

The Anti Sexual Harassment Cell briefed the students regarding the cell and it’s functioning at college. The program focused the importance of well being to human kind against harassment in various forces that triggers the national status of being unsecured. Sharing and caring with parents was also highlighted amongst the students.

Joy of Giving 2024

Department of Business Administration organized Joy of Giving on 05th January 2024, in the college.  The Department donated funds collected from the students, staff, management and also the funds raised by organizing an event Chef Kings on 11th August 2024, the fund was utilized to pay the fees of two needy students from SBMJC KGF, Ms. Nikitha (PUC) and Mr. Vignesh (BCA) in the presence of Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal SMBJC, Mr. Tony Head, Department of Business Administration, Mr Prakash DR, Assistant Professor and Mr Kunal Jain Management forum Representative (BBA).

Seminar on Recent Trends in Finance

The Department of Business Administration organized a Seminar on “Recent Trends in Finance”, Exclusively for the First, Third and Fifth Semester BBA Students, 161 students and 6 faculties participated in the event. The seminar was preceded by Mr. Vinod Chandran, CEO  MyLogic, Professional Training Institute, Bangalore . the seminar gave an insight into the recent trends in finance and investment options.
