Workshop on Skill Development Program

Workshop was organized for the under graduate students of B.Com, on 26.08.24  Monday by Department of Commerce in association with the IQAC


Resource Person: Mr. Prabhu Dayalan, Manager, CAD Center, Bangarpet.

No of participants: 85 students participated in the session.


Outcomes: The students were briefed about Interior Design Course, Basic Design, Free hand Sketching classes, Space planning , Event Model Making, Web Designing,  and also resource person had gave a deep knowledge about the Diploma in Graphic Designing career opportunities.

Guest Lecture

Guest lecture Program was organised for the under graduate students of B.Com, on 24.08.24 Saturday by Department of Commerce in association with the IQAC


Resource Person: Mr.Abrar Ahmed. Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce , Green City College, Malur.


No of participants: 80 students participated in the session.


Outcomes: The students were briefed about , CRR , SLR, Deposits, Lendings, Role of  RBI and also resource person had gave a deep knowledge about the over all Modern Banking Services.

SERVICE CAMP

A Service camp was arranged from 17/07/2024 to 19/07/2024 to all the pre-university college students in Scout’s Bhavan, Kolar. Mr.Nagesha P, Rover scout leader of SBMJC, KGF, actively participated and rendered service in the camp. 

Service Camp at Kaiwara (3 days)

The Rovers and Rangers of SBMJFGC – K G F, took an initiative to render the Service at Gurupooja Sangeeth utsava. Rover leader Mr.Nagesha P actively took part and rendered service at this event. From 19th July 2024 to 21st July 2024.

The Trustee members of the Sri Kshetra Temple, Kaiwara,  organized Gurupooja  and Sangeethoutsava. For this event the District association gave a call to all the Rovers and Rangers of the district.

SCARF DAY

Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJC,KGF  celebrated  Scarf Day and shared the importance of Scarf Day with the students every year on August 1st 2024, scouts across the world celebrate World Scout Scarf Day. This day is for all active members, the scarf around the neck is used to protect the body from sunburn and can also be used as a band-aid, in situations where a first aid kit is unavailable.

Hence, over time, the scouts’ scarf has become a symbol of strength and courage.
