The Department of Kannada organized Kannada Sabhrama-2023 and Kuvempu Birth Anniversary in honour to observe year-long programs in the name of Karnataka Celebration-50 by Govt of Karnataka to celebrate Karnataka Sabhrama – 50 for degree students 29/12/2023. Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal inaugurated and addressed the gathering by motivating the students to follow our state culture.
A comedy play called ‘Gandharva sena’, Dances like Kamsale, Kolata, singing enthralled the audience. The various competitions were conducted for the students like Singing competition, speech competition on Jnanpeetha awardees, Rangoli, dance competition and essay competition. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions.
250 students and 30 faculty members participated in the event.

The Rotaract club of SBMJC KGF had taken an initiative towards BLOOD DONATION CAMP, on occasion of National Youth Day. Around 30 total donar’s had donated and Dr.Majunath( Doctor’s private Association, KGF) gave an awareness speech on Donating blood.
Rotary club of KGF had associated with Rotaract club of KGF along with General Hospital KGF.

The event was organized on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda birthday as NATIONAL YOUTH DAY – Yuva Diwas 2024 by our youth of student welfare Council, also conducted pencil Sketch competition.
The celebration was continued with lightning of lamp and honoring Swami Vivekananda Photo with flower by our Guest Mr. Babu, office superintendent SBMJFGC KGF, Mr. Shivakumar, Commerce Department, Mrs. Jannet Department of History, Mr. N Praveen, Student Welfare officer, Mr. Changa reddy, Student Welfare coordinator. Continued with inaugural dance, Speech on Swami Vivekananda by Mrs. Jannet and event concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Bhavana of 3rd B.Com.
