The Department of Kannada, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, K.G.F, organized Lecture Competition on 10th March, 2025 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The students actively participated in the competition and gained their knowledge.
03 faculty members coordinated and 15 students actively participated in the competition.
Women Empowerment Cell of SBMJFGC, KGF organised an Awareness Program on Solution for “Happy Uterus and Healthy Periods” on 11/03/2025.
The Resource Persons for the day was Mr. Ananth. M and Mrs. K.Jayashree. Social Entrepreneurs Lead in Andhra Pradesh, Femi9 Group. They created an awareness on the proper usage of sanitary napkins and it’s disposal without polluting the environment.
They were around 300 girl students from UG across the streams participated in the program.
Chef King is an entrepreneurial skill exhibition cum fund raiser for the mega event “Joy of Giving” was organized by the Department of Business Administration and Management Forum at the college campus on 25th February 2025 in which not only the students of BBA took part but also students and faculties from other streams actively participated.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Rekha Sethi principal, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College.

On March 7th, 2025, Department of Commerce organized informative guest lecture on the topic “TAX UNDER E-ENVIRONMENT” was conducted for the students. The session aimed at enlightening the students on the emerging trends and challenges associated with tax systems in the digital and e-environment era. The lecture was organized by Mrs. Kasthuri L and Mr. Praveen N and held in the auditorium from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Resource Person:
The session was led by Ms. Anjali R, an accomplished professional with a background in MBA and CA (Inter). She is also the Founder & Proprietor of RAA Digital Solutions, a well-established digital solutions company specializing in the field of taxation and digital transformation.
Lecture Highlights:
Overview of E-Taxation: Ms. Anjali R began the session by discussing the evolution of taxation from traditional systems to modern, electronic methods. She highlighted the role of technology in transforming tax compliance and administration.
Benefits of E-Environment in Taxation: The lecture delved into the numerous advantages of e-taxation, such as transparency, speed, and enhanced efficiency. Ms. Anjali R explained how e-tax platforms are revolutionizing the way businesses and individuals file taxes.
Challenges in the E-Tax System: Ms. Anjali also brought attention to the challenges that taxpayers and government agencies face in the e-environment. These included cybersecurity concerns, data privacy issues, and the digital divide.
GST and E-Taxation: A significant portion of the lecture was dedicated to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the e-environment. Ms. Anjali R explained the complexities of GST returns, filings, and the introduction of e-filing systems.
Future Trends in Taxation: The resource person concluded by discussing future trends in e-taxation, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain technology to streamline the taxation process and reduce human error.
