Food fest a cultural event organized in Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College KGF by cultural forum on 22.5.2024 on getting traditional food from different states of India representing the nutrition food encouraging the students to have healthy eating habits

Food festivals offer excellent opportunities for food education. Through cooking demonstrations, workshops, and informative displays, attendees can learn about the nutritional value of different foods, sustainable agriculture practices, and the importance of making conscious food. It strengthens the local cultural heritage and brings awareness among the students related to the various food

There were around 28 teams participant who participated in food fest each team consist of 5 members over all 140 students participated.

1st place – Diya and team,Priyanka and team 2nd place –Glorya and team ,harshee and team 3rd place- Gowthami and team,snehalatha and team

Cultural forum organised Debate competition for the students to gain the knowledge of debating and be able to express they views an also it makes them understand what makes a good debate .student were judged on the following criteria:

1. Communication skills 2. Valid point 3. Body language

The students were given the TOPIC: *Social Media use in today generation is good or bad. *Voting awareness necessary to the society to understand the essential of the citizenship .

Over all 45 students participated.

 The winners for the Debate competition 1. Ayesha siddique from I-BCA 2. place Naresh Prajapath I-BBA 3. place Shurti Y.N III-B.com

2nd place 1. Harsher II-BBA 2. Madhumitha -III B.com

3rd place 1. Sameera I-BCA 2. Sandesh III-B.com

SBMJFGC- KGF organised a Inter Collegiate Mega Event VRISHNI- 2023 on 13th January 2023 enhancing the Cultural Ethics at the College campus headed by the Principal of the Institution Dr.Rekha Sethi coordinated by Ms.Madhu Ashwini, Assistant Professor and Ms. Vanitha ,Assistant Professor various colleges around KOLAR District participated and exhibited their talent.

The GOVERNMENT PU COLLEGE SUNDARAPALIYA and St. TERESA’S GIRLS PU COLLEGE has bagged the winners and the runners Trophy for VRISHNI-2023 for PRE-UNIVERSITY
SDC-KOLAR and BASAVESHWAR COLLEGE OF LAW KOLAR bagged the winner and the runner Trophy for VRISHNI-2023 for UG.

The Institution falicitated Mr. JUDE PRIYAN -III BBA for his Incredible Achievement having 100000 subscribers and received an SILVER CREATOR AWARD from YOU TUBE

Cultural Forum of SBMJFGCorganized Bengaluru North University events related to NEP.  Dance competition was conducted on 22^th December 2022. Students from various streams participated in this competition around 8 teams of students participated and won First, Second and Third places.
