Workshop on Cake Making
The department of commerce conducted two days workshop on the theme- Cake Making.
This was started on 10th and 11th of March 2022, with students from all combinations. The program was conducted in the Auditorium; our knowledge sharing partner was Dr. Rajinikanth. MD, AM- K.G.F who also owns Cake Shop.
As he wanted to share the knowledge of this kind to others, the workshop was conducted successfully and students were interestingly participative.
International Financial Reporting Standards
Mr. BALAKRISHNA A. Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, SBMJC, KGF Delivered a special Lecture as resourse person in International Financial Reporting Standards subject on the Topic THE RELEVANCE OF IFRS AND DISCLOSURE STANDARDS for second year Degree B.Com students organised by Government First Grade College, KGF on 08th December 2021 and received the Letter of Appreciation.
Quantitative Analysis for Business Decisions
Ms. KASTURI L. Assistant Professor, HOD Department of Commerce, SBMJC, KGF Delivered a special Lecture as resourse person in Quantitative Analysis for Business Decisions – II subject on the Topic SAMPLING AND SAMPLING DISTRIBUTION for second year Degree B.Com students organised by Government First Grade College, KGF on 31st January 2022 and received the Letter of Appreciation.
Webinar on Basic concepts in GST
Webinar conducted by Department of commerce On 22nd January 2022 Timings: From 11.00 am to 12.00 pm. Topic: Basic concepts in GST
Resource Person: Mr. S. Selvanathan, Head and Asst. Professor Dept. of Commerce VHNSN College, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu.
The webinar was conducted for B.Com first and second year students, exclusively to give an input about the emerging topic GST. This topic will be very useful to the student fraternity. More than 90 students were present and e- certificates were generated for the same.
