Guest Lecture

The Department of Life Science organized Guest Lecture on the Topic “plethora of bioavenues craft your career and competitive examination” for Science students on 27th July 2022 at SBMJFGC, KGF.

Total 75 students and 5 faculty members participated

Environmental Education

The Department of Life Science organized outdoor activity on Environmental consciousness at Karnataka Forest Department (Nursery), Benganur, Bangarpet on 31^st May 2022. The students were taught about Agro forestry and its impact on Environment issues. 30 students and 04 faculty members actively participated in the activity.

Industrial Visit – BOROTECK SCIENTIFICS

The Department of Life Science has organized Industrial visit on 31^st May 2022. 30 students and 4 faculty members visited “BOROTECK SCIENTIFICS” at Nerallekere, Bangarpet. The students gained knowledge on manufacturing glassware and its importance in Laboratory.

Awareness Program on Cancer and its treatment using Stem Cell Therapy

The department of Life Science in association with DKMS and BMS Bengaluru organized an awareness program on Stem Cell Therapy for Blood Cancer on 22^nd May 2022 at SBMJFGC KGF. Cheek Swab sample was collected from the public volunteers and students for HLA compatibility for further stem cell donation. 80 public volunteers, 04 faculty members and 25 students of SBMJFGC KGF actively participated.
