National webinar on Recent Trends in Research and Advancement in Diabetes Mellitus

The Department of Life Science in association with Research Cell organized a National Webinar on “Recent Trends in Research and Advancement in Diabetes Mellitus” on 24th May 2023. The Resource person for the session was Dr. Veeraraghavan, Professor, School of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Biochemistry, REVA University, Bengaluru

The concepts covered in the session are

  • Types of Diabetes Mellitus.
  • Current therapeutic approaches for the treatment.
  • New approaches in Drugs.

112 participants participated in the webinar using Google Meet online platform and gained knowledge on Recent Trends in Diabetes Mellitus.

Eco club organised- Plastic Free Campus

ECO Club in association with IQAC organised awareness program on Plastic free campus for the student on 16th May 2023.

53 students and 5 Faculty Members participated.

National Science Day

The Science Club organized National Science Day on 28th February 2023 for B.Sc students on the theme Global Science for Global wellbeing.

The Chief Guest for the day Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF. Mr Kalaichalvan HoD Department of Physical Science addressed the gathering on National Science Day. Ms. Roselin K., HoD, Department of Biochemistry and Ms. Louisena Vinoth Priya, HoD Department of Life Science were present.

World Diabetes Day -Awarness Program

Department of Life Science organised World Diabetes Day awarness program for Administrative Staff on 14th November 2022 at 1:45 to 2:45 pm. 22 Staff members participated in the Programm.
