PROGRAMME SHECULE: 1. Inauguration Ceremony 2. Badging Ceremony 3. Guest Lecture by Resource Person on “Mental Health and Well-being”

OBJECTIVES :

• To understand the importance of dressing professionally and modestly in a college settings.
• Familiarize oneself with college dress code policies and expectations.
• Learn about college etiquette and norms for interacting with peers and faculty.
• Develop confidence and self-expression through appropriate dressing and behaviour.
• Understand the role of attire and etiquette in personal and profession growth.

EXPECTED OUT COMES:

• Participants are aware of the college dr5ess code and etiquette expectations.
• Participants can dress professionally and confidently.
• Improve interactions and relationship among peers and faculty members’
• Enhance self-expression and confidence.

CONCLUSION: These objectives aim to promote a positive and respectful environment within the college community.

The Women Empowerment Cell of SBMJFGC KGF celebrated International women’s day on 8th March 2025.The Theme for the day was “Accelerate Action with Gender Equality”

The Guest of honour was Mrs. Indra Gandhi ( President of City Municipality, Robertsonpet, KGF). She presided over the event with the lighting of lamp. Followed by Invocation Dance by Aditi B.Com student, Invocation song by Mrs. Anjali Devi Assistant Professor, Department of Kannada.

The chief guests was addressed by our Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi, cultural dance by BBA students and fun game for faculties.

Women Empowerment Cell of SBMJFGC, KGF organised an Awareness Program on Solution for “Happy Uterus and Healthy Periods” on 11/03/2025.

The Resource Persons for the day was Mr. Ananth. M and Mrs. K.Jayashree. Social Entrepreneurs Lead in Andhra Pradesh, Femi9 Group. They created an awareness on the proper usage of sanitary napkins and it’s disposal without polluting the environment.

They were around 300 girl students from UG across the streams participated in the program.

The Women Cell of SBMJFGC, KGF conducted Self Defence activity for all the Degree Girl’s students in the conference hall on 7th October 2024 from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm.

The Self Defence activity was performed by Dr. Rakesh T. M. Black Belt, Physical Education Director, SBMFGC, KGF to learn about our mission to create : “Right to Defence” demo was given to elaborate how to safe guard oneself during critical situation.

The activities of women cell 2024-25 as inaugurated on 5^th October 2024  at conference hall  from 11:00 am to 1:00 Pm to Empowering Women and  Enrich Lives by WEC Co-coordinator, Mrs. Sujatha Mohan, Asst. Professor.

We were honored to have our  Key note speaker Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF.
