The Department of Life Science in association with IQAC organized a National Webinar on “Role of IPR in Science and Technology” on 25th May 2023.
Resource person: Dr.S.K.Murthy, Patent Counsel, Director of IP, Intel Technology Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru.
Flavours of IPR was discussed in the session.
100 participants participated in the webinar using Google Meet online platform and gained knowledge on Role of IPR in Science and Technology.
The Eco Club is organized awareness program on “Plastic Free Zone”for the public on 31stMay 2023 in order to sensitize the public on health impacts of plastic.
50 Students across the entire program participated in the awareness program and distributed paper bags to the vendors.
The Department of Life Science is organized an awareness program on Non-communicable Diseases for the public on 31st May 2023 in order to bring awareness about different types of diseases and its prevention. 50Students and 5 faculty members participated in the program and distributed pamphlets on types of diseases and diet charts.
The Eco Club has conducted “Paper Bag Making” competition for the students of SBMJFGC, KGF on 30th May 2023 in order to sensitize the students on health impacts of plastic.
100 Students across all the programs participated in the competition.
Indian Red Cross Society conducted “Essay Writing Competition” on 31st May 2023 for the degree students. 20 students participates in the Competition.
