The Department of Life Science organized Guest lecture on career guidance on future trends in embryology on 23rd August 2025.

Resource person is Mr Rakesh Kumar. Consultant in  Seragen , a Bio therapeutics Regenerative medicine company which deals with IVF failure cases and give Solutions and recommendation to Top most Reproductive doctors across PAN India.

Guideline for session chair

  1. Preparation Before the Session – Review the conference schedule, session theme, and abstracts of the papers to be presented.
  2. Time Management – Ensure each speaker strictly follows the allotted time (generally 15–20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).
  3. Technical Readiness – Check the availability of presentation equipment (laptop, projector, mic, internet) before the session starts.
  4. Introduction of Speakers – Briefly introduce each presenter with their name, affiliation, and paper title.
  5. Maintaining Professionalism – Create a respectful and encouraging environment for all participants, regardless of their experience level.
  6. Facilitating Q&A – Manage audience questions, encourage constructive discussions, and avoid off-topic queries.
  7. Handling Delays or Issues – If a speaker exceeds time or if technical issues arise, handle them diplomatically while keeping the session on track.
  8. Promoting Equal Opportunity – Ensure every presenter gets fair attention and audience interaction without bias.
  9. Documentation & Reporting – Record attendance, note key highlights of the session, and report any issues to the conference organizers.
  10. Closing the Session – Summarize the key takeaways, thank the presenters and audience, and announce upcoming sessions.

Industrial  Visit to  Group Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Malur.

The Department of Life Science organized an industrial visit to Group Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Malur, Kolar District, Karnataka, on 20th August 2025.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the manufacturing processes of oral care products, including toothpaste and mouthwash. This visit provided a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on knowledge about the industrial applications of Life Sciences. It emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration in bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world practices.

A total of 24 students and 5 faculty members actively participated in the visit.
