Objective of the Seminar:

 Collaborating with others: Getting to know your fellow classmates is healthy when coming to college, as you get get to know them and their people who you are able to share ideas with. When you’re doing a group project everyone gets to insert their knowledge into the group, giving the others something new to learn.

Connected Learning: Not only do you show your work to just your teachers and classmates but the outer world where you can receive feedback . Creating a blog or website that shares the information you know to others for them to comment back about what they also know on the subject and can critique you. Helpful for a job someday because these classmates won’t follow you to your future job to give you the feedback you need but your new coworkers will.

 Learning to Engage: Talking to others and sharing what you know with other people, is an awesome thing to do in a class. Your listening to what others have to say about certain subjects and also putting your insight into it too. This is useful when your in your other college classes especially when you need to share your own opinions but it’s also teaching you how to hear the other side, as you can’t always be correct!

 Develop Academic Survival: Learning how to get your work in on time and passing a class is something you will need to get through college. You’re finally understanding how to check your own grades, learning how to write a paper,  and anything else that can help you survive academically.

 Research Skills: Almost every class in college is going to have to need some research whether it be for a paper, power point, or project.  In college you will need to understand how to find accurate research.

ONENESS YOGA CHALLENGE

 Report of ONENESS YOGA CHALLENGE

June 21st is celebrated as The International Day of Yoga all over the world. This idea was proposed by our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi.

Student Welfare Association (SWA) SBMJC , KGF with the coordination of Ministry of Ayush, Government of India conducted “ONENESS YOGA CHALLENGE”  from 15th June to 21st June 2021 through online platform (7 days)

INTRODUCTION TO ONENESSYOGACHALLENGE

7 Day journey that starts on June 15th.You have pre-booked your spotto join the Oneness Yoga Challenge. Each day you will !have access to the video lesson taught by Sri Preethaji. You will get to practice that day’s yoga and move into the spiritual experience. Each day the video is available at 6.30 am IST. You will receive an email notification everyday with the link to access the content. This yoga challenge is available in English. Indian & International languages.

Each language section will be named as a category (For eg:English videos will be named as Yoga Challenge (English), Iike is Spanish videos wilI be named as  Oneness Yoga Challenge(Spanish),and soon.

From Student Welfare Association around 15 students and faculty Members have registered and participated in Oneness yoga Challenge session.

Session taught us why yoga is More important in every one’s life. It helps in improving concentration and attaining inner peace.

Regular practice of yoga will surely help us to achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
