Objective: To provide a platform for commerce students to showcase their talents, skills, and knowledge.

Mega Event Highlights:

  • Formal Welcome: The event commenced with a formal welcome speech, welcome song, and welcome dance.
  • Chief Guest: Ms. Chaitra, alumni of the Commerce Department and young entrepreneur of Chai Bakes, inspired students to focus on studies and hard work to achieve their ambitions.
  • Dignitaries: Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi presided over the event, accompanied and Speech by the HOD and IQAC Coordinator.

Cultural Performances:

    – First-year B.com students performed a captivating folk dance.

    – Second-year B.com students presented a thought-provoking drama, “Unsung Hero,” highlighting a father’s sacrifices for his children.

    – Third-year B.com students narrated the biography of visionary leader Mr. Ratan Tata.

All the winners were felicitated with gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with certificates of achievement.

 “Mr. Yogeshwar Achari – Second year B.com secured the Runner-up position for the year 2024.”

 “The Best Student Co-ordinator Award was won by:

The Overall Trophy was won by the Final Year students, with the Second Year students emerging as the Runners-up.

Introduction

The Intra-college fest, AAVISHKAR -2024, was held on 29.November.2024 at SRI BHAGAWAN MAHAVEER JAIN COLLEGE,KGF .The event was organized by CULTURAL FORUM with the aim of promoting teamwork, creativity, and talent among students.

The fest featured a variety of events and activities, including:

  • Cultural events: Singing, Dancing,Ethinic wear, Reels making , Fashion show(Mr& Ms –AAVISHKAR-2024 ) and Treasure hunt.
  • Literary  and Commerce events: Hard sell,poster making,
  • Fine arts events: Mehendi, Face painitng,  Photography,rangoli, Best out of waste and Candle carving

Participation and Winners

The fest saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments around 598 participant  . The winners of each event were awarded prizes and certificates.
