ELC (Electoral Literacy Club) Club of SBMJC KGF has conducted poster drawing competition on 9th October 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm for all the degree students to create awareness about the importance of voting.

The Department of Kannada organized State Level Workshop on ‘Kuvempu Dramas’ (Jalagara, Shudratapasvi and Smashana Kurukshetram dramas) was on 08 October, 2024. The workshop had a special lecture on the theme ‘Brect’s Epic Theatre/Kuvempu Manorangabhumi’ based on the Kuvempu dramas in the texts prescribed by Bangalore North University for graduates as for SEP. The workshop inspired faculty and students to apporach Kuvempu Drams for new avenues of teaching and research. The ceremony was presided over by the Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi.
The Resource Person Dr. V. Chandrashekar Nangali. Renowned critic, poet, environmental thinker and retired principal addressed the gathering on mythological Dramas and plays of social satire.
200 students, 25 faculty members and 20 public participated in the workshop.
