The Department of Business Administration at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, organized orientation program for I sem BBA students on July 7th, 2025. The program started with The Department’s activities, including academic curriculum, Internship, and other initiatives, were highlighted to give students a clear understanding of what to expect. Additionally, the career opportunities available to BBA Undergraduates were discussed, providing students with insights into potential career paths and industry expectations. About 52 students participated in the event.

The Student Welfare Council (SWC) of the institution conducted an Orientation Program on 21st July 2025, exclusively for the newly admitted First-Year Degree students of the academic year 2025–2026. The program aimed to welcome and familiarize students with the structure, objectives, and significance of the Student Welfare Council in their academic journey.
Objectives of the Orientation Program: Mr. Praveen N, SWC Officer, along with Mr. Changareddy, SWC Coordinator, addressed the students and emphasized the key objectives of the Student Welfare Council:
– To bridge the gap between students and the management, ensuring transparent communication and mutual understanding.
– To promote holistic development by supporting students’ academic, cultural, and personal growth.
– To recognize and nurture student talents in various domains such as academics, sports, cultural activities, and leadership.
– To ensure student well-being by organizing welfare-oriented programs, awareness drives, counseling sessions, and other support mechanisms.
Highlights of the Orientation Program: • The program began with a formal welcome address followed by an overview of the SWC’s objectives • Students were informed about the various activities and initiatives organized by SWC throughout the academic year,
Including: *Skill development workshops *Personality development and leadership training *Community outreach programs
• Opportunities for student representation in SWC committees were shared, encouraging active participation and leadership. • Students were encouraged to approach the SWC for any academic or personal concerns for guidance and support.
Conclusion: The Orientation Program was a grand success, marked by enthusiastic participation and interaction from first-year students. The initiative provided a platform for students to understand the support system available to them and encouraged them to contribute positively to college life through the Student Welfare Council. The session concluded with a vote of thanks.
