GIRLS ON WHEELS

We the Rotaract Club of SBMJFGC-KGF collaborated with Rotary Club of KGF for “GIRLS ON WHEEL” event. A CSR initiative of Sacumen under the broad vision of Rotary International focus area of Girl Empowerment for rural India, where they provided bi-cycles to girl’s students from Rural Government Schools.

The Chief Guest for the events was Mrs. Roopa Kala Shashidar (MLA) .

12 Members from our club took part in this event.

Total 50 Bi-Cycles were issued to students.

Jatha Report of Kannada Rajyotsava – 2023

The Department of Kannada organized a jatha in collaboration with Kannada Sangha on 31-10-2023 Tuesday in KGF. To create awareness of Kannada language on the occasion of 68th Kannada Rajyotsava ‘Suvarna Karnataka – 50th Celebration’. 300 students and 10 faculty members of the college enthusiastically participated in the jatha program and announced slogans about Kannada Nadu-Nudi in the public sphere and made the jatha program a success.

Kannada Rajyostava Day

The Department of Kannada celebrated Kannada Rajyostava Day at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College on 1st November 2023 at 9:00 am.

There were 105 faculty members and 40 students who participated.

The program started off with the lighting of a lamp, hoisting the Karnataka State Flag and prayer. The program was hosted by Mr. Nagesh Asst. Prof., Department of Kannada Welcome speech by Ms. Anjali Asst. Prof., Department of Kannada followed by the inaugural speech by Dr.B. K. Manjula Professor, Department of Kannada.

Parents Teachers Meeting

Parents Teachers Meetings was held on 19th of October 2023 for I Semester degree students from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Meeting was conducted for parents to know their ward academic progress

Campus Drive by Wistron Quess Winning Togther

The Placement Cell of SBMJFGC, KGF in Association with WISTRON INFOCOMM MANUFACTURING (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED, Narasapura Organised Campus Drive for final year degree students on 18th October 2023 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm .

Total 150 students participated.
