The NSS Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF in Association with Police Department, Robertsonpet, KGF conducted Crime Awareness Program for Degree students on 18th October 2023 at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the auditorium.
The Program was hosted by Dr. B. K. Manjula Department of Kannada SBMJFGC, KGF. Welcome speech by Dr. L. Jayapandian NSS Officer, SBMJFGC, KGF. Crime Awareness Speech was given by Mr. Thangaraj Sub Inspector of police Robertsonpet, KGF.
There were 06 faculty members and 150students participated.

The Student Counseling Cell(SCC) conducted “World Mental Health Day” at SBMJFGC, KGF on 10th October 2023 at 2.00 pm in the Auditorium.
The program was hosted by Ms. Abhinaya, Ms. Alina Muskan, SWC members, Welcome speech given by Ms. Asfiya fathima, SWC member.
The program was inaugurated by “Watering the plant”. Dr. Antony Gruze Thangaraj J, Professor, PG Commerce Department SBMJFGC, KGF, addressed the resource person.
Ms. Nazneen Ahamed delivered the awareness of “World Mental Health Day” in detail . The program ended by vote of thanks by Ms. Arfa naaz member of SWC.
There were 06 faculty members and 150 students who participated.
Crime and Road Safety Awareness Program was organised by NSS Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Police department Robertsonpet Station, KGF for all the degree students on 6th October 2023 in the auditorium from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
The Program was adressed by Dr. L. Jayapandian NSS Officer, SBMJFGC, KGF.
The Crime Awareness Speech was given by Mr. Naveen, Circle Inspector, Robertsonpet, KGF.
The Road Safety Awareness Speech was given by Mr. MunaGowda, ASI, Robertsonpet, KGF and Mrs. Gayathri PSI, Robertsonpet, KGF.
210 Students and 05 faculty members participated
Swaach Bharath program was organised by NSS Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF at King George Hall Park, Robertsonpet, KGF to create an awareness of swachhata for the people of KGF on 5th October 2023.
80 NSS volunteers and 02 faculty members participated.

The Student Welfare Council (SWC) has organized Engineers Day on 15th September 2023 this day is celebrated to commemorate the achievements of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (Sir MV) on his birth anniversary. Visvesvaraya played a significant role in shaping India’s infrastructure and industrial landscape, including overseeing the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara Dam. Visvesvaraya worked as a construction engineer for the British government before becoming Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Mysore.
Dr. Srinivas Prasad D S, department of Kannada, SBMJFGC, KGF has been called as a resource person to give a talk on the achievements and contributions made by Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
