Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF , signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vedupskilling Private Limited, Bengaluru, on 22 July 2026. The MoU was signed with the objective of strengthening industry–institution collaboration and enhancing the employability skills of students through training, internships, and placement support.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, KGF, and Mr. Rajesh H, CEO, Vedupskilling Private Limited Bengaluru. The agreement will remain valid for three years, from 22 July 2026 to 22 July 2029.
As part of this collaboration, Vedupskilling will provide:
- Industry-oriented skill development training.
- Two-month online internship programmes with live and recorded sessions.
- Real-time industrial projects with mentor support.
- Internship Completion Certificate, Industrial Training Certificate, and Letter of Recommendation.
- One-year access to the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Placement assistance and recruitment opportunities for eligible students in non-technical roles.
Students will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of technical and non-technical domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Web Development, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, and several other emerging fields.
The Principal appreciated the initiative and stated that such collaborations bridge the gap between academics and industry by equipping students with practical knowledge and job-ready skills. The CEO of Vedupskilling assured continuous support in providing quality training, internships, and placement opportunities.
The MoU marks an important milestone in the college’s commitment to enhancing students’ career prospects and preparing them for the evolving demands of the corporate world. It is expected to benefit students by improving their technical competencies, professional skills, and overall employability.
