Introduction: The Department of Hindi grandly organized the 21st edition of Hindi Diwas, themed “Sparsh,” on 16th September 2026. Hindi stands as a powerful symbol of India’s unity in diversity, beautifully representing our shared patriotism, rich culture, and collective prosperity.
To mark this auspicious occasion, the department hosted a series of competitive events on 11th and 12th September 2026. The celebrations saw enthusiastic participation of 200 students representing 12 external schools, 2 external colleges, as well as the PUC and Degree students of Jain College.
The following events were successfully conducted:
- Shabd Antakshari (Word Building)
- Nibandh Lekhan (Essay Writing)
- Desh Bhakti Geet (Patriotic Solo Song)
- Samuh Nritya (Group Dance)
Grand Finale & Valedictory Ceremony: The main event on 16th September was graced by distinguished personalities. Mr. Sandeep Singh, Branch Manager of union Bank of India, K.G.F, attended as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal of Jain College, honoured the occasion.
The day featured vibrant and colourful cultural performances presented by the talented students of Jain College alongside participating schools and colleges. The celebration concluded with an award ceremony where all the winners were honoured with certificates and medals in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
