National Science Day

The Science Club organized National Science Day on 28th February 2023 for B.Sc students on the theme Global Science for Global wellbeing.

The Chief Guest for the day Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF. Mr Kalaichalvan HoD Department of Physical Science addressed the gathering on National Science Day. Ms. Roselin K., HoD, Department of Biochemistry and Ms. Louisena Vinoth Priya, HoD Department of Life Science were present.

Library Advisory Committee Meeting

The Department of Library conducted meeting on 4th August 2021 in the board room along with library advisory committee and student representatives from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

The agenda of the meeting was: Students find difficult to visit library physically to refer model question papers during exam due to huge crowd

Traffic Awareness Program

Traffic Awareness Program was organised by NSS Unit, SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Police department Robertsonpet, KGF on 30th January 2023 to bring an awareness on traffic rules and safety measures.

The Rally was flagged by Dr. Darani Devi Superintendent of Police, Robertsonpet, KGF and Dr. Jayapandian L, NSS Officer, SBMJFGC, KGF. The Rally started from SBMJFGC, KGF to Gandhi Circle, KGF.

Total: 120 students and 5 faculty members participated in the rally.

Guest Talk

The Women Empowerment Cell organized a Guest Talk on the Topic “Self Pruning towards Empowerment” on January 28, 2023 for Girl Students.

Resource Person: Mrs. Rashmi, Senior Admin Executive, SBMJC KGF

No. of Participants: 100 Girl Students and 10 Women Faculty Members from all the streams participated

Program Outcome:  The session enabled the girl students of the institution to enhance their sense of self-worth by learning about themselves.

Debate Competition

The ANTI SEXUAL HARASSMENT CELL organized a Debate Competition for UG students on 27th January 2023 on the topic “Cultural reforms on gender Equity (Emotional maturity to overcome sexual harassment)”.

On total 20 students participated in essay competition and backed prizes.

Certificates were provided for all the participants.
