The Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF successfully held its 10th Installation Ceremony, “Nava Yugam,” with great pride and enthusiasm.
The event was graced by the Principal of SBMJC KGF, Parent Rotary President, Secretary, Youth Service Director, Rotary Prime President, District Rotaract Representative, District Core Team, EC and DC members, along with Rotaract’s from BMSE and SSMRV.

The ceremony witnessed the collaring of Rtr. Kishan as Incoming President by the Parent Rotary President. The new BODs were formally badged, and an impressive 118 new members were inducted into the club. Inspiring addresses from dignitaries. Followed by lunch and fellowship, making “Nava Yugam” a truly grand and memorable installation.

Career Guidance on Future Trends in Embryology

The Department of Life Science organized Guest lecture on career guidance on future trends in embryology on 23rd August 2025.

Resource person is Mr Rakesh Kumar. Consultant in  Seragen , a Bio therapeutics Regenerative medicine company which deals with IVF failure cases and give Solutions and recommendation to Top most Reproductive doctors across PAN India.

100 students and 7 faculty members participated.

Industrial  Visit to  Group Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Malur.

The Department of Life Science organized an industrial visit to Group Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Malur, Kolar District, Karnataka, on 20th August 2025.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the manufacturing processes of oral care products, including toothpaste and mouthwash. This visit provided a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on knowledge about the industrial applications of Life Sciences. It emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration in bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world practices.

A total of 24 students and 5 faculty members actively participated in the visit.

Industrial Visit to  Deccan Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd Dasarahosahalli Bangarpet

The Department of Commerce, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), Organised an Industrial Visit to Deccan Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd Dasarahosahalli Bangarpet for 2nd year B.Com students. 47 students and 2 faculty visited Deccan Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd to interact and understand how the various products are manufactured for four wheelers, Commercial vehicles, Tractors and Off-Road vehicle segments. They also supplies for both Domestic and International markets suh as BEML, VOLVO, TATA, L&T Constructions, and SAME DEUTZ- FAHR.

In the morning @ 10.30 am we visited to Deccan Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd we divided our students in Group for the visit and the interaction with the industry persons. In this visit students were very eagerly waiting for listening to department’s head explanation regarding process of production.

The Orientation on Community Skill Development Program was organized by Learning Leaders for all degree classes – B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc (PMCS), and BGBT – at our institution. The session aimed to create awareness among students about various certificate programs and skill development courses that enhance employability and professional growth.

They provided valuable insights into the importance of skill-based learning alongside academic studies, highlighting how these programs can prepare students for industry demands. They explained the structure, benefits, and career opportunities associated with the offered certificate and skill development courses.

The orientation was interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their queries. The session helped broaden the students’ perspective on continuous learning and professional readiness.

As a gesture of gratitude, Dr. L. Jaya Pandian presented a token of love to the esteemed resource persons, acknowledging their contribution to enriching the knowledge base of the students.

The program concluded on a positive note, leaving students motivated to explore skill enhancement opportunities.
