AWARENESS PROGRAM Department of Management Studies
The Department of Management Studies organised NEP Awareness Program on the syllabus on 27th of October 2021. It also deliberated on subject elective choices introduced in the NEP-2021 like 1. AECC – Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course 2. DSC – Discipline Specific Course 3. OEC – Open Elective Choice 4. SECC – Skilled Enhancement Compulsory Course
The department of Life Sciences in association with Indian Medical Association, KGF branch conducted speech competition on AIDS and its prevention in order to observe World AIDS day on 1st Dec 2021 with the theme “End inequality and End AIDS”. The students from other institutions of Kolar District participated in the competitition and won the prizes.Dr.Vijaya Kumar, General Secretary, IAM, KGF and the members of IMA participated in the program.150 students and 06 faculty members participated in this program and gained knowledge. The chief guest of the event was Dr.Nagappa and Guest of Honor Dr.Rajendra Kumar and Mr.Babu Office Superindent, SBMFGC, KGF.The panel of judges were Dr.Parameshwer, Dr.Nagappa, Dr.Prakash, Dr.Savitha and Dr Rohini.
The prize winners are First prize – Ms. Sapthamitha Roy, Noorie School of Nursing Second prize – Ms.Supriya M Sambhram, College of Nursing Third prize – Ms.Reshma Sulthana, SBMJFGC, KGF
World AIDS Day was organised by NSS Unit on 1st December 2021. Ms. Roseline K. Department of Biocehemistry and Mr. Siddaram S. Department of Computer Science were the Chief Guest of the Day.
In continuation of the quality and enrichment of practical knowledge, the Department of Management Studies, Organized Guest Lecture on the theme “Human Resource Recruiting and Interview Methods” By Ms. Harshitha N, HR Manager. Dated 26th Nov 2021, in which about 88 students of I, II and III BBA participated.
