Guest Lecture on ‘Understanding Women’s Empowerment’

The Women Cell SBMJFGC organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Understanding Women’s Empowerment’ on 30th September 2021, with the objective of creating awareness among girl student about the role of women empowerment in the society.

Resource Person: Ms. Anitha, Assistant Professor, St. Anne’s Degree College for Women Halasuru, Bengaluru-08 No. of Participants:  45 Girl Students and women faculties

Outcome: Students understood the status of women during ancient times and present era. Various government schemes were highlighted about women up-liftment E-certificate was provided to all the participants. The key seven principles of women’s empowerment were discussed

Inauguration of Equal Opportunity Cell-2021

Inauguration of Equal Opportunity Cell for the academic year 2021-2022 was organized on 6th August 2021. Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC-KGF addressed the students, followed by an awareness programme on “Stress and Time Management During Examination” by Dr. J. Anthony Gruce, M.com Co-ordinator, SBMJC-KGF, who briefed the students about the time and stress management techniques to be followed. National Blood Donation Camp- Women’s Cell

Women cell of SBMJFGC KGF had actively participated in the National Blood Donation Camp organized by K. G. F. City BJP Yuva Morcha in association with Rashtrotthana Blood Centre, Bengaluru.  On the occasion of Great Leader Bhagath Singh’s Birthday on 28th September, 2021 at King George Hall, were 20 girl students and 10 women faculties participated and donated blood.

Teacher’s Day Celebration by SWA

The event was inaugurated by SBMJC Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi and the chief guest were the members of Lion’s Club BEML Nagar and Bangarpet. Lion J. Suresh, President Lion’s Club, BEML.Nagar, Lion S. Abilash Karthik .Director, Karnataka Wine Board .Govt of Karnataka, Lion. Adil Pasha, Lion.V. Sudharshan , Lion Kishore Patel, Lion Shoaib Ahmed and Ms.Pavitra , IAS  who were the guest of the day.

The lion’s Club members honored our 15 senior faculties with the momentum for their services render in the field of Education. The event was followed up with fun filled entertainment with various games for the teachers and the winners were rewarded with gifts.

Anti Sexual Harassment Cell Inauguration

Inauguration of Anti Sexual Harassment cell was orgainsed on 2nd September 2023 for the Academic Year 2023-2024.

The Alumni Student of our Institution called as a chief guest Ms. Banu B.Com, LLB given brief lecturer about topic “Sexual Harassment, Crime and the significance of Anti Sexual Harassment” the event was highlighted to the students about the same.
