Dr Rekha Sethi, Principal addressed the girl students and the women faculties and briefed about women empowerment and encouraged the girls to participate in the upcoming events. Online session by Dr. Selvamani. R, IAS . Deputy Commissioner of Kolar District , giving speech on Swachhta activities in district. Mr.Melywn as representation from MGNCRE inaugurated the session and highlighted about the award criteria with Mr.Uday of MGNCRE Hyderabad. The Principal Dr.Rekha Sethi followed by other Higher Education Institution principals and faculties participated in this workshop .The Student Welfare Association Officer Mrs.Nazneen Ahamed and SWA President Ms. Afseena Tasin explained the project report which has got selected for 2020-2021 award.
Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College of KGF has awarded as “One District One Green champion” 2020-21 for Kolar District. In Presence of the Deputy Commissioner Dr.Selvamani, who handed over the award to Principal Dr, Rekha Sethi on 4th August 2021. The Student welfare Association of SBMJFGC participated in the workshop organized by Mahathma Gandhi National council of Rural Education. Govt of INDIA on the modalities of handling water, waste, Greenery, sanitation and Energy initiated by Higher Education Institutions and the villages adopted by Institute in KGF for Swachhta Activities.
Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College awarded on 3rd August 2021 as the Green Champion for 2020-21 in Kolar District. May this award motivate SBMJC, KGF in Kolar District to take up Swacchta Action Plan for 2021-22.
