Awareness Program on World Cancer Day

The Department of Life Science organized awareness program on 4th and 5th February 2025 ,  for the public at KGF to educate on cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options. The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, regular medical check-ups, and the role of early diagnosis in improving survival rates.

20 students and 04 faculty members actively participated to spread awareness on Cancer and its prevention.

Campus Drive-grassroot

The Placement Cell & IQAC of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with grassroot, Bengaluru conducted Campus Drive for all the final year students and passed out degree students on 4th November 2023 in the Auditorium from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

One Day Hindi National Level Webinar

The Department of Hindi organized ONE DAY HINDI NATIONAL WEBINAR on the topic “Social Concern of Contemporary Poetry” on 31st May 2024 more than 200 participants participated in the webinar using Google Meet online platform and gained knowledge on Basic Concepts of Contemporary Poetry.

Objectives:-
 The main feature of contemporary poetry has been public advocacy. Accepting human
life in its entirety and articulating the problems of one’s life with deep emotion has been
the main hallmark of contemporary poetry.
 Contemporary poetry expresses the changing values in the changed conditions of
society. The contemporary poet emphasizes the need for values because he believes that
values are very important for the welfare of the entire human race and he constantly
strives to establish values.
Satire has three key objectives

  1. To expose
  2. To ridicule
  3. To criticize

Orientation Program

Orientation Program is conducted by IQAC and Cultural Forum of SBMJFGC, KGF on 19th June 2023 in the Conference Hall. Total 324 students and 56 faculty members attended the program.
