SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME

The Women Empowerment cell organised Aari and Embroidery classes for 10 days in collaboration with IQAC.  The girl students were taught a self employable Embroidery work held on 28th May to 8th June.

Program outcome:

Students actively participated and created unique pieces of art, preserved cultural heritage and enhanced their ideas of designing their own attire and expressed their creativity.

No. of participants: 20 Girl students and 4 women faculty members.

World Environment Day 2024

The   Eco Club of SBMJFGC, KGF conducted photography competition on the theme “Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience” in order to observe World Environment Day on 5th June 2024.

24 Students participated and presented.

Field Visit

The   Eco Club of SBMJFGC, KGF organized Field Visit at Kannur, Kyasamballi from 10th May 2024 to 18th May 2024 in order to bring awareness among the farmers on Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience.

383 Students and 05 faculty members participated.

Awareness Program

The Department of Life Science organized awareness program to the public at Kannur, Kyasamballi on 5th June 2024 in order to bring awareness on Blood Pressure, Dengue causes and its prevention, the students provided community food to the public.

32 Students and 03 faculty members participated.
